Rawhide; First-Year-Camper Program

Rawhide, the first-year-camper program

Rawhide is our program for “first-year campers”, or any Scouts who are still working on ranks up to First Class.  The Rawhide program is designed to make new Scouts feel comfortable at camp and give them the enthusiasm to fuel their advancements.  This is a very structured program focused on rank advancement activities and each Scout is placed into a patrol for his activities during the week.

The Rawhide program has been designed to give Scouts the greatest opportunity to learn basic Boy Scouting skills.  The Scouts will then be organized into a patrol based on the requirements they need to complete.
